It's easy to be an armchair quarterback. But there's a reason they're in the armchair and you're running down the field with the ball in your hand. It's important to listen to feedback. It's more important to figure out when the feedback is just white noise.
So the next time you write a story, design a coat, cook a meal, craft legislation, or create anything, remember this:
