MIRACLES VS COMMON SENSE.

I don't believe in miracles. I don't believe things "happen for a reason." I just believe things happen as they have for billions of years and we, because we think we're so damned smart, connect dots. Like Rorschach ink blots or seeing choochoo trains in clouds or (God help me) deities on toast.

Don't get me started.

So it was refreshing to read this by Alan Webber, this morning. Because while I liked Bill Gates's recent TED talk on climate change, there was something about it that bugged me. And I agree with Webber: there are no miracles to solving climate change -- or any challenges, big or small. There's simply common sense.
